Dee Wolfe displayed many carvings done over the years. She has attended many seminars and done all types of carving. She talked about her carving experiences and her work as Superintendent of the Woodcarvers show at the Iowa State Fair. She encouraged us to enter. Carvers from all over the state should be represented.
Show & Tell - Al Bahlman - Widgeon Drake, White Rump Sandpiper and a Short Billed Dowitcher. Jerry Schierholz - Praying Santa he carved in the Bishop's seminar at Larry Sylvester's. Stewart Grapp - two Santa's he carved with Mike Shipley and two that he bought from the Shipley's. Dick Hanson - several examples he has carved of the Continuous Cross that we carved at Denver the day before. Several mem-bers exhibited the ones they made. Jim Groen dis-played a nativity set he won in a raffle at Decorah.
Laverne (Sid) Sidler demonstrated his portable carv-ing bench and Ultra Honing Machine.
Al Bahlman won the wood drawing - a big piece of walnut.
